Spider Solitaire

Spider is played with two decks — 104 cards across ten tableau columns. Your goal is to build eight complete runs from King down to Ace in the same suit.

Cards in the tableau are built downward regardless of suit, but you can only move a group of cards together if they form a same-suit descending sequence.

When a full King-to-Ace run of one suit is complete, it flies off the board automatically. Remove all eight runs to win.

Click the stock to deal a new row of ten cards — one onto each column. You can't deal while any column is empty, so fill the gaps first.

Start with 1 suit to learn the flow, then work your way up to the full 4-suit challenge.

• Click or tap a card (or a same-suit sequence) to select it, then click the destination column.
• Drag and drop also works on desktop and touch devices.
• Click the stock pile to deal ten new cards.
• Use the Undo button to take back any move, including deals.

• Empty columns are the strongest tool in Spider — dig for them early and reuse them often.
• Prefer building same-suit runs; mixed-suit stacks are quick but they lock cards underneath.
• Delay dealing from the stock as long as you have useful moves — every deal buries your columns deeper.
• In 2- and 4-suit games, keep one column as a 'working space' for temporary mixed stacks.
